Our Buks have a long lasting and full sound. They can, in contrast to traditional Japanese models, be tuned via a sophisticated and sturdy tensioning mechanism, The tuning is comfortably adjusted with an Allen key from the front facing the head.
We build Buks in three standard sizes. On request we also offer Buks in special measurements. We built a Buk-style drum with a diameter of 1.80 m for the Taiko group Masadaiko from Bremen. The Buk drum group Buk'n Beat from the Hanau region in Germany is playing solely on Munz&Simonsen Buks.
Furthermore we also make drum stands and drum sticks after your indications.
